| The Youth Panel are a group of living legends from the planet Awesome. They ended up on the Earth when they were forced to escape from the home planet which blew up or something like that. Now they survive as soldiers of fortune living in the Belfast under ground. These gorillas of rock only surface after dark to perform pieces of contempory theatre in the land of OMAC before sinking back into the shadows and disappearing into the realms of myth. Well that’s exactly what the evil Deputy Mayor of Belfast has in store for the teenagers who hang around the streets of his city making the place look untidy. When the Mayor decides to cancel Saturday and ban teenagers from the city centre the time has come for the Emos, Millies, Plastics and Skaters to put aside their differences and join together to fight for their right to party. Throughout the month of August the Youth Panel will be working a professional team of writers, musicians, lyricists and choreographers to create a brand new musical with a teenage twist. The Show will be performed at the Old Museam Arts Centre from Thursday the 21st to Saturday the 23rd. | | | I'd Do anything to be in that Musical | | The Youth Panel will be holding auditions for their big summer musical LAST SATURDAY. Sunday the 20th of July at 10am to 4pm at the Old Museam Arts Centre. If you are between 13 and 18 and love to sing and dance and act then why not come along and join in the funsical. There is no charge to take part but you must be available Monday to Friday from the 3rd of August to the 23rd of August.
